Playslip Reader Troubleshooting

Error Message / Intermittent Read / Incorrect Read

Verify the playslip is filled out correctly and is correctly inserted into the reader.

If needed, advise the customer to fill out a new playslip or open a new pack of playslips.
- If the reader is still not responding correctly, contact Brightstar.
Exception Thrown Error

Open the Gemini door.

Gently pull up on the white latch on the top of the reader and open the reader door.

Check for any jams or debris.

Clean the reader rollers with a dry cloth.

Close the reader by lowering the door until it clicks into place.

Power reset the Gemini using the power switch above the managers display/touchscreen.

Test the reader with a playslip.
