Getting Started

Opening the Door

  1. Insert the main door key (labeled MD) into the main lock, located below the playslip reader.

  2. Turn the key to the right and the “lock handle” will pop out.

  3. Turn the lock handle a quarter-turn counter-clockwise.

  4. Lift the door slightly and pull to open the door.

Retailer Sign-On

  1. Open the main door and the managers display/touchscreen will prompt you to sign on.

  2. Enter the 6-digit User ID number.

  3. Enter the 4-digit password.

  4. Select Send. 
    • If the Sign On was successful, the Home screen will display and the alarm will disable.

Loading Tickets Using the Barcode Scanner

  1. Scan the “Load” barcode on the desired bin using the barcode scanner.

  2. Scan the barcode of the first ticket.

  3. Scan the barcode of the last ticket.

  4. Select OK at the next prompt and the screen displays the Product Details.

  5. Select Confirm when finished. (If loading multiple packs of the same game, repeat steps 2 - 6.)

  6. Then, physically load the tickets into the bin:

    • Place the ticket pack into the bin.

    • Feed the first ticket over the roller.

    • Insert the ticket under the ticket guide until the leading edge firmly touches the black rubber feed rollers.

      • This will activate the ticket sensor switch and automatically load the tickets.

NOTE: Multiple ticket packs can be loaded by taping the end of one pack to the beginning of another pack.  To connect two packs, use Brightstar’s perforated tape.

Loading Tickets Using the Display/Touchscreen

  1. Select Inventory Management from the main menu.

  2. Select Select Bin and enter the desired bin number.

  3. Select OK.

  4. Select Add/Change Inventory.

  5. Enter the Game, Pack, and first Ticket number manually.

  6. Select OK.

  7. Enter the Game, Pack, and last Ticket number manually.

  8. Select OK at the next prompt and the screen displays the Product Details.

  9. Select Confirm when finished. (If loading multiple packs of the same game, repeat steps 2 - 6.)

  10. Then, physically load the tickets into the bin:

    • Place the ticket pack into the bin.

    • Feed the first ticket over the roller.
