Troubleshooting Steps for ShowConnect Mini
- Secure all data and power connections for ShowConnect Mini, (connected to TV Monitor, wall outlet and Ventus modem box)
- Connections for ShowConnect Mini at the TV Monitor:
- Wall Power Outlet < > Show Connect Mini < > HDMI Cable < > HDMI Port on TV Monitor
- Comm Connection for ShowConnectMini:
- VSAT IDU or Ventus Modem < > CAT6 Cable < > LAN Port on Show Connect Mini

- Unplug the ShowConnect Mini. (verify TV screen goes blank)
- Plug the ShowConnect Mini back in.
- If you see the following sequence of screens, the terminal is loading properly: CLUB KENO logo is displayed, Michigan Logo floating on the TV.
No Signal
- Check connections TV/Show Connect Mini (ensure it is connected to the TV Monitor, wall outlet, and Ventus Modem box).
- Verify TV is in video mode
- VerifyShow Connect Mini is powered on
Only one out of multiple TV’s not working
- Check connections on that particular monitor
- Check connections to ShowConnect Mini (ensure it is connected to the TV Monitor, Wall Outlet and Ventus Modem box)
- Verify TV is on correct HDMI input.
Intermittent Night Shows
- When the ShowConnect Mini is not connected to the TV Monitor, outlet or ventus modem box, the "Night Shows" appear.
- If Night Shows is visible during wagering hours it could be a communications issue. Check the lottery terminal for a possible communications error message.
- If there no apparent communication problems, follow the TV Monitor troubleshooting steps.
- Secure all data and power connections into terminal and ShowConnect Mini (tv monitor, wall outlet, and ventus nodem box).
- Unplug the Show Connect Mini (verify terminal screen goes blank) & Reset the ShowConnect.
- Plug the Show Connect Mini back in.
- If Screens display in order: We may assume the problem is fixed.
TV Black, Grey, or Blank Screen
- Verify TV is powered on.
- Verify power by:
- Check outlet
- Check breakers
NOTE: If there has been a power outage at the location, power reset ShowConnect.
