Display / Touch Screen Troubleshooting

Note: The error message “SORRY THIS TERM IS NOT ABLE TO HANDLE ANY TRANSACTIONS” may appear when the cash box is full or has a jam.

"See Retailer for Assistance” Message

The GameTouch 20/28 will display "See Retailer for Assistance" when the machine has been disabled.  The GameTouch 20/28 can be Enabled/Disabled with the remote control or with the managers display/touchscreen.  Once the GameTouch 20/28 has been disabled, the terminal MUST be enabled using the same method.

  1. To Enable or Disable the GameTouch 20/28 with the remote control:
    • Select the "I" button on the remote control to Enable or Disable the machine.

Note: Locations with multiple GameTouch 20/28 terminals will be affected by any remote control used.

  1. To Enable or Disable the GameTouch 20/28 with the managers display/touchscreen:
    1. Select Management Functions on the Home screen.

    2. Locate the "Terminal" button on the display.

      • If the button is green with a check mark, the terminal is enabled.

      • If the button is red without a check mark, the terminal is disabled.

    3. Select the button once to enable or disable the GameTouch 20/28.

      • If the GameTouch 20/28 was disabled it may be necessary to power reset using the power switch.

        • The power switch is located below the barcode scanner on the GameTouch 20 and above the managers display/touchscreen on the GameTouch 28.

“Games Unavailable” Message

  • This error is caused by an issue with the bill acceptor.  Click here to troubleshoot the bill acceptor.
