Barcode Scanner Troubleshooting
- The External Barcode Scanner can be located on the either side of the terminal.
- Retailer Pro 2 can have a WIRED barcode scanner or a wireless barcode scanner.

Integrated Barcode Scanner Wired or Wireless
- Both scanners magnetically attach to the mount or charger mount, respectively.
- The wired BCS illuminates GREEN when ready.
- The wireless BCS illuminates BLUE when ready.
Turning Off the Wireless Barcode
1. Turn the Wireless Scanner off. (not that the retailer will ever have to turn it off)
- Press and hold the trigger for approximately 10 seconds.
- The scanner will play one long beep, and the trigger LED will extinguish.
- Release the scanner trigger.
To clean the Barcode Scanner and mount
1. Use a cloth dampened with all-purpose cleaner and wipe down the outside casing and mount.
2. Apply the glass cleaner to a clean, lint free microfiber cloth, and wipe the window lens.
Will Not Scan/Intermittent Scanning
1. Secure bcs connection to the USB port and check to make sure there is no damage to the wire.
2. Power reset terminal. When power resetting, the power button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down.
