Display Screen Troubleshooting
Contrast/Focus/Blank/Solid Color/Spots or Lines
- Verify power to terminal.
- Power the terminal off. When power resetting, please know that the button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down.
- Firmly seat USB C into the rear of terminal (shown above).
- Power the terminal on.
- While terminal is loading or power is off, clean touch screen with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or Non-ammonia based glass cleaner
Damaged/Falls Off/Loose/Missing
- Check for any exposed wires that have come loose.
- If wires or circuit boards exposed, unplug power cord from electrical outlet.
- Check if mounting of display has become weak and/or broken.
Touch Screen Troubleshooting
No Response/Invalid Response/Frozen Screen
- Reset Terminal (switch on the front or unplug powercaord from the wall). When power resetting, please know that the button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down.
- Clean Touch Screen: while terminal is loading/power is off, with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or non-vinegar based glass cleaner clean screen (This avoids printing of unwanted tkt).
- The Colorado terminal has a screen saver feature that displays the message “Please Touch to Continue” after a period of inactivity.
