Display Screen Troubleshooting

 

 

Contrast/Focus/Blank/Solid Color/Spots or Lines

  • Verify power to terminal.

  • Power the terminal off. When power resetting, please know that the button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down. 

  • Firmly seat USB C into the rear of terminal (shown above).

  • Power the terminal on.

  • While terminal is loading or power is off, clean touch screen with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or Non-ammonia based glass cleaner

Damaged/Falls Off/Loose/Missing

  • Check for any exposed wires that have come loose.

  • If wires or circuit boards exposed, unplug power cord from electrical outlet.

  • Check if mounting of display has become weak and/or broken.

Touch Screen Troubleshooting

No Response/Invalid Response/Frozen Screen

  • Reset Terminal (switch on the front or unplug powercaord from the wall). When power resetting, please know that the button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down. 

  • Clean Touch Screen: while terminal is loading/power is off, with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol or non-vinegar based glass cleaner clean screen (This avoids printing of unwanted tkt).

"Please Touch to Continue" Message

  • The Colorado terminal has a screen saver feature that displays the message “Please Touch to Continue” after a period of inactivity.

  • Touch anywhere on the screen to re-activate.
