Printer Error Messages

1.    Do not hold hand over printer or leaning against printer while ticket is printing/feeding.

2.     Verify ticket stock is thermal and loaded properly (see paper load procedures above).

3.     Check power and data connections to printer and rear of terminal (USB Connection for Data)

4.     Check paper roll for damage.

5.     Check for paper scraps in printer.

6.     Verify printer door is closed tightly (open and close again if necessary).

7.     Reset the terminal (switch on the front or unplug power cord from wall). When power resetting, please know that the button must be pressed for 10-15 seconds for the terminal to shut down. 

Printer Downloading error message

  1. Check data (usb) connection

  2. Reset Retailer Pro 2 (switch on the front or unplug powercaord from the wall).

  3. Reset EPP (unplug power cord from wall outlet).

Cover Will Not Open

**Do not force the cover open, doing so will cause damage to the printer.


Recovering a Jammed Cutter Blade 

If the printer is on and the LED status indicator blinks RED 5 times, the cutter blade is jammed. At this time the printer cover cannot be opened Perform below step to clear:

1. Remove the power from the printer via the wall outlet or from the printer power supply brick – wait 20 seconds then reapply power.

2. The cutter should reset to the home position.
