Loading Scratch Tickets

Loading Tickets

When loading Scratch tickets into the GT_24 or GT_28 terminals, Retailers will need to perform the following steps before loading the physical tickets into a Bin:

  1. Open the terminal’s main ticket shoot cabinet door and disarm the terminal’s alarm.
  2. Open the waterfall door. Once open, Retailers will have access to all scratch ticket bins.
  3. Using the Green tab on the left, release and pull open the drawer with the desired Bin that the tickets will be loaded into.
  4. Using the Terminal Touchpad and the Manager Menu, Press Scratch Functions and then Scratch Ticket Management
    1. The Ticket Management Screen will have a representation of all the Bins on the left-hand side.
  5. Select the Bin number on the screen that the tickets will be loaded into.
  6. Press Load Tickets
    1. Manager Menu screen will ask the Retailer to scan or enter the first ticket number.
  7. Scan the first ticket in the pack and then Press the Checkmark button to confirm.
  8. Select Full Pack when loading an unused pack, or Partial Pack for packs of tickets that have already been purchased from.
    1. Loading Partial Packs will require another scan of the last scratch ticket in the pack being loaded.
  9. Once the Scratch ticket pack has been successfully scanned, the game’s information will be added and displayed for the Bin selected.

After the Scratch ticket information is successfully added to the Bin, it’s time to load the physical tickets.

  1. Place the pack of Scratch tickets into the desired Bin (ensure the scratch tickets are being loaded into the correct Bin that was selected with scanning the tickets into the system)
  2. Pull and guide the top ticket of the pack of tickets under the lip of the tray located in the front of the drawer and past the sensor switch, located near the rollers.
    1. If done correctly, the rollers will grab the Scratch ticket.
  3. Pat the tickets down and close the drawer.
  4. Shut the waterfall door.
  5. Close and lock the terminal’s main ticket shoot door.
  6. Once the terminal door closes, the machine will reinitiate and the newly loaded tickets will be available for sale.

The Daily Activity Report can be generated two ways:

  • Daily Sales Activity Reports – Daily total sales and counts for all Lottery terminals at a single location.
  • Daily Term Activity Reports – Separated daily sales and counts for individual Lottery terminals at a single location.

When ran, the Daily Activity Report displays Sales and Transaction counts for both GT1200 and/or self-service Lottery vending machines.

  • Reports can be printed for up to 180 days back.
  • Displays separate payout totals for both Draw and Scratch game sales and transactions.
  • Includes cancelations and promotion transactions
  • Does not track the individual scratch ticket sales by game
  • A line is added for Debit Card transaction on all reports. This total includes both Scratch and Draw Debit transactions.
